That's a nice selection. I love sweetpeas in a nice vase - the more you cut them the more you get!

That's what I thought and I really, really like the idea of an entire bed of sunflowers :)

Not from seed but I couldn't resist some of the Dafoldil bulbs for sale today whilst staying with a relative in Plymouth the local discount store/garden centre was selling them off at 25p a pack and they had hundreds! uploadfromtaptalk1453657980595.jpg

This year I sowed all of my saved sweet pea seeds as they were saved some years ago, plus the T&M 'Chatsworth' I got for 16p/pkt when they were seriously reduced, on a multi-save and there was a £5 voucher with every order to use on the next one, so I got 12 pkts for just their £1.95 P&P charge Bargain - 6 Pkts of T&M seeds for only £1.95 P&P, 33p/pkt and are now up to £1.99/pkt Sweet Pea 'Chatsworth' seeds | Thompson & Morgan

The Chatsworth sweet peas grew so vigorously without any special attention that I wondered if I'd sown perrenial sweet peas by mistake. With stems up to 15" long (to underside of lowest flowers) it's something I'll definitely be saving seeds from to sow next year (no way am I paying £1.99/pkt).

£4.90 less £5 voucher = zero, only £1.95 P&P for 12 packets was worth taking a punt on:
