gracious I feel tired today but I must get on, lots to do as ever!

@"M" I'm really sorry to hear you've lost your Bantum they are clever little birds they never show their illness until it's too late . She had a lovely life with you & im sure she's now in the big coop telling everyone about her lovely mummy.

It's warmer here today, only a gentle breeze, no sunshine just yet, but it's brightening up.

@liliana put your feet up this afternoon if you can, I hope your hubby feels better soon.

@M sorry to hear about your Bantum. That's much worse than the bad part of the day I had.

It is bitter cold here, -15 which is good. We are starting to use up the cold days. Countdown to starting up the greenhouse!

Good morning WOO and all to follow on. WOO isn't it a bit dark to walk Penny that early. I still cannot see outside and shall wait awhile before taking Amber out. Very cold too, hope you wrapped up warm.

Morning all

Very very cold today, mega frost in the garden, that should kill the flipping bad bugs

Gave Shadow a shower this morning, he did not mind at all, the shower head
worried him just a tad, but overall for his first shower with me, it went well.
Don't worry he had a really good rub down, so he is dry and the heating is up.

Off to my monthly carers meeting at 10am, just for an hour, then onto the craft
class at 11.30. So a busy morning.

OH much better today, so perhaps he won't be so grumpy

Stay really safe and warm, and take it easy if you have to venture out.

 

Good Morning All,

Golly it's chilly here this morning, very frosty, it was -3 when I left the house at 6am, the car was covered in frost but Kev was sitting in the car warming it up for me, good old boy hey!

Kev is going back to Peterborough this morning, he's not left yet as he says he will only sit in traffic & waste time. He has to go on the A14 to Cambridge then onto the A1, going anywhere near Cambridge at this time of day is a complete nightmare due to traffic.

I hope you are all ok, keep yourselves safe & warm & if you do have to venture out wrap up well

 

Good day everyone
It's warmed up to -12c /11f and I believe that last night was the coldest night of the year so far and the forecasts are listing nothing colder than that to come so we're on our way back to civil temps. Only about 90 more days of cold.

As usual, I put the kettle on first thing and while waiting for it to boil, I run down to the cellar to see what new sprouts might be there. Today I was delighted to see that 3 out of 4 of my greenhouse vine tomato seeds have sprouted!

Going to the docs this morning to get my test orders for a physical and then stopping at a collision place to find out what can be done to put it back in order.

Good morning/afternoon WW'ers

Spent the morning sorting out my office and organising things - not easy when I'm still waiting to kit it out with the storage furniture it needs, but hey, that is what cardboard boxes were invented for and at least now they are organised

Yup, that is what I sometimes do with Ozzy too. It's great for the dogs because they get to sniff all the fresh scents that are out there from the nocturnal events (before other dogs get to them) It really gives them a great brain work out. Perfect dog time because their naturally times of day are dawn and dusk when it comes to activity.

And here *we* are complaining about our own temperatures!

Bravo!! I haven't planted any seeds yet but then I'm tight on space for growing them.

Good morning all, I need to thaw out before I even venture out there, this flat is a cold old hole. Have put up with it for years , don't ask me why. Still not getting any lighter of a morning. Roll on Spring. Even Amber is in no rush to go out this morning.
