Yawn, Yawn, Wakey Wakey!! 2016

Good Afternoon folks,

I couldn't get on the forum second time round this morning not sure if it was the forum or my internet!

Not so cold today, we do have very heavy rain which is a bit of a nuisance, my lawn hasn't recovered from the last downpour yet, I guess we will have a hose pip ban forecast for June & July!

@Trunky & @moyra I hope you are both feeling better soon

@Zigs your view looks as bad as mine today, golly it's bleak! We must get some bright days soon

Good day everyone,
It's cold here, 21f, and I have a lot of driving to do today starting with returning a wallet to a girl in a city east of me.

Can everyone please ask all of your contacts who only have cell phones to please include their mobile number with the contents of their wallets?

This gal didn't and her wallet contained all of her i.d. Drivers licence, health card, bank cards, etc but no contact phone number.

finally resorted to searching through a phone directory to find someone who lived close by and luckily that neighbour walked over and gave her my number. I can't imagine the panic this gal went through and how much faster she would have known her info was in safe hands if only she had this info tucked in there!

Then I will be visiting my friend in the home and after that picking up my son who is having car trouble and taking him to his home in another city west of me.

 

Aft'noon WW'ers

Hmm well the weather was great while I was out walking Ozzy, we came home lovely and dry - just cold. By the time I had to go out for the mobile library, it was bucketing down! Still, at least I don't drip mud everywhere (like Ozzy) or stretch out across the floor and leave a mud trail (sort of like the white lines around bodies at murder scenes, only coloured in!) like Ozzy does.

Had a second egg for the year today and it as definitely a different colour from the one on Sunday, so, judging by the size of those eggs, the two Wyandottes are back in lay

This weekend was supposed to be Mr "M"'s long weekend off work (job time!! ) but, he's called to say that he has to work on Sunday night Best get a list drawn up that he can achieve tomorrow and Sunday then

Not a bad start to the day here, it's cool & dry.

I could do with a few more hours of , that's not going to happen, I'm off to work shortly, it seems a bit never ending at the moment I'm not grumbling though there's a lot of people with no work at all. I always try to count my blessings.
