No, I wish I had. I was going under some misguided sense of vegetarianism whilst trying to bring a baby up on £26 a week. Would have supplemented the diet a treat:doh:

I can think of some lovely spots to try if I ever go back. The Estuary at Portmadog for flatties. Some decent rock marks around the Lleyn peninsular, esp right at the tip where you can scramble down to a big rock ledge thats surrounded by kelp. Bet thats good for Pollack.

Have you fished there at all?

Hi Zigs, I have done a minimal amount of trout fishing locally. We have some fantastic lakes as you will know. I still have all the gear so maybe when I can afford a season ticket I'll give it another go. Never sea fished though.

Great pic:dbgrtmb: I caught a trout once, but didn't like the way it whistled:hate-shocked:

If you need talking thru sea fishing set up let me know.
