Thank you..lol I sort of thought that but I honestly don't know names of plants.I'm learning as I go along. Can this be bush or tree also can this be grown in pots or not? From what I can see it seems like a tree.

Kels, we all had to start somewhere and it's amazing how much you learn particularly here on GC. I've been gardening for a long while and I joined GC nearly 18 months ago, my plant knowledge has expanded greatly since then with the help of members. :)

Honeysuckle is a climber and given the chance will scramble over and through everything, you can prune it to keep it under control. I think a pot would restrict it's growth too much, but you can try it.

It depends on the size of the pot and the type of honeysuckle. I have some in pots and they're fine.

I had a honeysuckle in a pot for years and its always been fine. This year, for its first year ever, it has open soil.

If it has to live in a pot, give it a big pot and keep it well fed and watered. I usually feed mine with chicken poo pellets.

After flowers fade ,choose shoots if you can that didn`t flower.Sept usually good, for most.
Put cuttings around sides of large pot 8" say,you can put them round every few inches and you will get 8/10 perhaps more around, leave outside and they will strike or a good percentage, some like hormone rooting powder, I don`t bother and get a good strike rate. You will know if any success when you see cuttings "perk up " let them get a good root system and pot individually, you can pop into G/H during winter if you like to give some winter protection, then away you go in spring.
