    Hi
One of my other hobbies is i have a model train layout.I became interested when i was about 10. Event though i love gardening, collecting model trains is enjoyable, and a good thing to do when it is raining.

Hello, boygardener, and welcome to GC.

My father loved and had a massive model train setup, H scale, and t'other half had a very lovely N scale. A good hobby and fun ... we have cats and they enjoy them as well!

What sort of gardening do you like?

    Enjoy the site.

Hi Boy Gardener. My husband has a model train layout in the garage. It's still in it's infancy as we only moved here last year. He's currently sat painting models whilst I'm chatting to my gardening buddies. What gauge is yours? Love to see pics. Nice having a train enthusiast. Always easy to buy birthday and christmas presents for. Bought him a whole load of passengers for Christmas. He tends to buy and sell a lot on ebay.

Paul hasn't an ebay shop. He tends to do more buying than selling!! He's only sold bits of old track that he didn't need, the odd building. But he's had some real bargains with engines and the like.

Sounds like life in our house! Fraid I like the pretty stuff, like the people and houses and animals. He's into the engines, bridges, track, controls! He did say the train set was for our 6 year old, but think he was telling me bit of a porky. We often have days at York Railway Museum or Locomotion in Shildon. Amazingly good days out. And I'm treating Paul to a meal on a 3 hour steam train that runs on the moors for his birthday. Reckon if you can't beat them, join them!

Think you''ll find that a lot of sellers have their own ebay shops too, and I think there is actually an ebay shopping centre sort of thing there too these days.
