Nothing to do with the fact that it was a Great film and a Great cast, infact a film way aheads of its time.

David please can you be a little bit more constructive:thumb::):thumb:

Did you know, it wasn`t going to be made. It was only because Stanley Baker pushed hard with the studios, and partly financed it himself. That it WAS made. The singing wasn`t` bad either.:D

I think up there near the top of my favourite films has got to be Forrest Gump, as it has everything you would want from a film and also gives a different slant on historical events because of Forrest 'being there' ie the Watergate scandal :D

    Bound,
because it's a well crafted and unusual story line, and the quirky cinematography,
and going to the other extreme
    Somewhere in Time,
traditional love story, set around time travel, and also a great music score.

The Green Mile, because I loved the book (by Stephen King) and the film was very true to it, and I love Tom Hanks too.
