Hi I'm new on here and new to gardening have just brought a 8ft by 6ft greenhouse I Intend to grow tomatoes chilies and salad leaf can anyone recommend anything else to grow in the greenhouse that is easy for a beginner? Also can anyone give me any advice on how to make my own fertiliser have been reading about making fertiliser with comfrey nettles and seaweed? I live near the beach so seaweed is not a problem nettles and not a problem either but where can I get comfrey from? Many thanks

Have you put chillis and toms in the greenhouse yet? I still have mine indoors as I'm worried it's to cold at night?

I have grown them all from seed and were moved to the greenhouse 2 weeks ago when they were about 2"/3" high. They are fine.

They look OK to me, hang fire on putting them in the greenhouse just yet. What is your location?

Going by others on here The Wirral is very mild but even so I'd wait till mid May. A 12lt pot size is about the minimum you can get away with, they will need watering twice a day in the height of summer.
