Woke us up at 4 am this christmas morning trying to get our neighbours chickens. We are looking after her house as she has gone abroad. What a row, the pet rabbits were thumping and the fox was making a funny yell. We went outside but the fox stood its ground' my daughter threw a sprout (the first thing she found) to scare it away. Luckily the fox didn't get at the pets, but the rabbits cage was broken and they escaped. So we had a rabbit hunt at first light to round them up. I've moved them into her garage tonight so hopefully they are safe :rolleyespink:

It must be a problem John, b ad enough looking after your own pets but when you are resposible for a neighbours it gets a bit more problematic.

Never kept either rabbits or chickens, but If I did you would need a some heavy machinery to get at them overnight.

Foxes are killers, but they only do whats natural to them.

Hope the neighbours are coming home soon.

The neighbour comes home on friday, I'll leave her animals in the garage until then otherwise I wouldn't sleep. The fox knows it's only a matter of time before it gets another chance.
