    All I get is

However, the bigger battle and defeat was somewhere else from what I understand. Hardly reported in the British newspapers, cause we got really stuffed.

Hi Tweaky, (male so I'm told:D)
You're right we got completely stuffed at Isandwalna. It was reported heavily in the press ( the whole column got wiped out) that's why they made such a fuss of Rorke's Drift.
Pete, there's not much point of going into it unless you're interested in History. The only thing is, if you've seen the film. Commissariat Dalton was portrayed as a wimpish character but he was the actual hero of the battle. Some reports suggest that Chard and Bromhead wanted to leg-it , hotly disputed by others but the reason the Zulus retreated was because they saw a relief force coming to assist those at Rorke's Drift. So much for the "saluting fellow braves". But still a great film:thumb:

Cajary, if you you refier to my profile, I am definitely male...what are you;)

I suspect the link doesn't work because it ends with aspx. Would that be a link you are copying from your browser, cause it doesn't look like it to me. Or is the site members only?

But gotta say...the subject you are posting about is fascinating..honest.:thumb:

I could look into the link myself and find out, but at this time of the morning I really cant be bothered...but I will look into it tomorrow if you wish. Cheers.

Tweaky. As regards my sex. Malish, I think, I get confused when there are Sheep and Goats in the vinicity:D
I can't post this link for some strange reason.
If you Google Rorke's Drift. Then look for the "Military History" site, it's all there, fascinating:)
