You know how it is, for every job I cross off my list several more appear.
I was entertaining littleun in the garden when the good lady informs me the utility floor is flooded under washer. Oh joy!
Looked under sink, pipes were fine and dry, water mark at front away from pipes. Water all under cat litter box and food dishes.
Mopped up, let washer finish looking forward to stripping it down next day off.
That evening she remarks how much water the cat is drinking, filled up that dish twice today.
Great now the bloody cat might need the vets, turning into a great and expensive day.
Got up this lunchtime to find a note on the table.
"Sorted the leak, cat dish had a hole in it, Smudge doesn't need the vets and washer is fine."
Had to laugh, wouldn't if I'd already had the washer apart.
It's right what they say, keep it simple.

My motto is "Always put things off till tomorrow", theres always a chance the problem might go away or whoevers nagging you to fix it will have forgotten. It's a bonus when it's a really simple fix exlabman :)
