I have grown Cuces for a couple of years now in my cold greenhouse. The first year I grew 'Telegraph' and it was ok but tasted no different from shop bought ones.
Last year I tried 'Petita' from Unwins, supposed to be F1 Hybrid. However, one of my two plants grew with coarser leaves and when fruited the cucumbers were definitely of a ridge variety. This must have somehow pollinated the second plant as all the cucumbers from both plants contained seeds and tasted bitter.
Anyone recommend a tasty variety to try this year?
    Grateful thanks

Sweet, tasty outdoor ridge cucumber 'Marketmore' was a revelation last year, and we'll grow it again! Delicious taste, some seeds, not fussy about where they are planted, and they just keep cropping and cropping ... and cropping!

Got to agree with supersprout I had a great crop from Marketmore grown in a polytunnel. It was still cropping when the GH cucs had finished.

So Marketmore for outdoor, thanks for that supersprout & Dave W, but what variety should I grow in the greenhouse?

I grew Topsy an F1 last year and we enjoyed eating the fruits. It perhaps didn't produce quite the same size cucs as Telegraph which I've grown in the past, but they were plenty big enough.
