Glasses

Two men in a pub, Bob and Jeff, were having a drink and Bob asked "Hey Jeff, haven't seen Reg for a while, where is he?"
"Oh, poor fellow had an accident at work,replied Jeff, fell through a roof and ripped both his ears off"
Oh, that's nasty, said Bob"
"He said he will be coming in tonight, said Jeff, but don't mention anything about not having any ears, as he's a bit embarrased about it"
"Of course I won't" replied Bob.
Later on Reg came in and Jeff called out greetings to which Reg ackowledged and Bob said, "Hi Reg, glad to see your eyes are better"
"Why did you say that?" asked Jeff.
And Bob replied, "Well, he's not waring his glasses.
