Just been out and bought a raspberry plant & a blueberry bush. My raspberry plant is autumn flowering and i am led to believe this can be planted as a shrub and needs no form of support. Im not too sure with the blueberry bush, can anyone offer me advice on growing these, if i need any type of plant food or special soil?

blueberries prefer acid soil, so you'll need ericaceous compost if your soils alkaline. i give mine a general fruit fertiliser and an ericaceous feed as well - i don't know if i'm doing right though cos mine have only been in a year! I did have a few fruit last year and this year they are covered in flowers, so here's hoping!

The raspberries i grow are all summer fruiters, so i can't really help you there, but i would assume that you will need to give them some support and again a general fruit feed will be ok.
i'm sure there will be plenty of great advice forthcoming later tonight! :D :D

sorry once again, you don't have to make it, its a granular feed that you just spinkle around the plants! i meant i'd see if there was owt special in it - its probably Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K).
