Agapanthus

    Aren't they considered borderline hardy here, Victoria? Maybe that's why they do so well further south with all that sun :) Bit like your poinsettias!

    Sis, although the drainage would appear to be fine, I wonder if the Jacaranda is the culprit? :scratch:

    The rain could drain away around and under the bulbs, but perhaps the Jacaranda, due to all the ran, kept dripping right on top of the Agapanthas and so rotted it?

    Hi Aaron. Yes, they are borderline ... isn't there a song called that? I digress .... :hehe:

    Too true and as you probably saw in my Med frost thread the Poinsettias suffered drastically ... but they bounce back in the Spring .... :yho:

    I've just never seen Agapanthus do this before and I've been coming here for 26 years and living here for 7 plus .... as I said, time will tell. :)

    Ah, one thing I did learn over the past few days which I didn't know is that there are evergreen and deciduous ones ??????? You learn something every day .... :D
