Banned people

    I've read some threads, over the last few days, and the poster has the word 'banned' across their name - it's clear that they've been banned but how is it that they are still able to post their comments and contribute ?

    No idea Louise :P I expect that member or two has slipped through the net so to speak. :D

    I don't think that they have posted after being banned. I would guess that they have been banned and then their posts have had the banned title put up. The post just hasn't been removed.

    Again, I would guess that the post is left there after the part of it that has caused the ban has been removed.

    I did find some members showing as banned but the posts had been made before they were banned - just not removed.
    I could not find any posts which had been made after the member was banned.
    If you find posts which concern you the best way to bring them to our attention is to hit the blue Report button at the bottom of the text box.
    That flags problems up to us immediately.

    Ha Ha Its probably my fault ,I am still getting to grips with the new software,under the old system when a member was banned ,it automatically deleted every post under their name,but under this new system it seems that the posts are not deleted,and I do apologise most profusely to you all,I will have to go and have some more intensive training.:rolleyespink::)

    OK.... This is not a subject we would normally talk about....

    If a person is banned then there is a line through the name.. We have to hand delete all posts & sometimes some get missed & that is why they are there... Sometimes the post is still relevant, so it is left.....

    Nothing ominous, but we do not suffer Troublemakers, Spammers or Trolls on here lightly & so it is a nice tight friendly community because of it..... :dbgrtmb:

    I shall now lock this thread as there is nothing more to discuss as it is all in the rules......... :dbgrtmb:
