You mean untill it was murdered it was a citizen of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Colonies ?

I'd say its lost its citizenship by being decapitated.

Must have been Treason or setting a fire in a royal dockyard, wouldn't think a chicken would be capable of that.

It is, Capney, it is ,and in full Black Arrow colours too:D I've got some photos I took while on the squadron of them practising formation flying and aerobatics, also the Open Day at the Squadron at RAF Wattisham in which the Black Hunter, Spitfire, Hurricane, Meteor and Lightnings all lined up on the Front Line Pan. And also two classic photo's of all of them flying together, something never to be seen again. Plus there's one of "spot the Radar Fitter" with all the ground crew lined up in front of one of our Lightnings. I was thinking of posting that one and letting people guess which of the scruffy techies was me!!

I for one would sure like to see your pictures.
I can share a picture of the 16 formation Hunters just after the spectacular loop at Farnborugh in 196os something.
I dont think It`s been done since.

Well, Capney, the world record held by Treble One Squadron for the most aircraft to loop the loop in one formation is actually 22 aircraft. They had to get the MOD's permission to go around pinching/borrowing aircraft from other Hunter Squadrons and also talk it through with the MOD to show them it could be done. They invented nearly all of the formations used by world air forces today, the Winelglass, Diamond 9 changing to Double Arrow, the Bombburst, and many others. The Hunter was such a beautiful aircraft, highly maneoverable, and easy to service.

Right, I will post the photo's and here's the one of the brave, upstanding, vigilant, groundcrew of No.111[F] Squadron ready to defend Queen and Country, well, actually we were thinking that a cup of tea could have gone down well.

Aah, those were the days!!! Spot me if you can!! A clue is I was the "baby" of the Squadron and I hadn't got into my working clobber due to having just arrived to check over the monster in the background.

Perhaps they have to undergo a citizenship test before they're bumped off. You know the sort of thing - can they cluck the National Anthem, do they know who the Queen is and do they understand the importance of queueing?
