I love cyclamen but know very little about them. I have planted some a few months ago and now all but one have vanished, leaves and flowers gone and the last one is on its way out. Is this normal for them? Do they lose their leaves and go dormant or do they just not like me?

They do go dormant, ocasionally they rot off or get eaten but usually they survive and thrive, trick is to avoid disturbing them and plant them in semi shade.

It also depends on whart Cyclamen they were. If they were the 'mini cyclamen' sold by an awful lot of places then they are forms of C. persicum which is not frost hardy and the recent cold weather will have wiped them out. Hardy ones like Cc. hederifolium and coum should be still in full leaf and the coum in flower. C. hederifolium flowers from August onwards.
