Hello.......

Hi there.

My name is Steve, I am 53 and live in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
Gardening is my hobby and for the last few years , my occupation. I worked as a mechanic but in my late 30's decided that horticulture was my thing. I gained a basic horticulture NVQ and then went on to study for an HNC in garden design. I ran my own design / build landscaping company for a few years and gave that up to look after the grounds at a large country hotel in east Yorkshire. I have been there for the last 6 years.

They always say that you never know everything about plants and gardens and I believe that a day without learning something is a day wasted. I still have a lot to learn and I hope that you people will make me welcome and teach me a thing or two.:gnthb:
