Bought this plant from a nursery last week and it was labelled as Tricyrtis Formosana.
Checked and it is definately not this.

    Cheers.

It looks familar. The flowers remind me of some campanulas, the leaves of a form of Nepata.

Dunno basically! Hopefully someone will recognise it. I bought a mislabelled plant this year, when it was a tiny little thing. I thought it was Echinacea, after watching it grow all summer, it's finally blooming...and it's a Physostegia!

It looks like it could be one of the Scaevola family, Fairy-Fan Flowers.

It's a Lobelia, probably Lobelia siphilitica.

:thumb: Ah ha.. That's it of course..!! I knew it looked familiar, but couldn't think where from... The lake up at the farm!! There are a couple of little clumps that grow in the shallow margins..!!!!! Got a pond Gaz..?? :D

 Yes Lavender, for the brain & the respiritory system so actually acts as a gentle stimulent but also relaxative properties at the same time, in the slowing & easing of breathing...

It does lok very similar to Lobelia siphilitica and Ive searched on the web and all seem to have dark leaves whereas mine is very light.
I have got a pool but just for Koi, they would tear it to bits. But the border its in stays very damp/moist even in the summer.
    Thanks for all your help.
