Thats not good for the Islands economy at all, especially after last year.

I've got 3 bags of West Bay Royals just reaching the flowering stage.

It's been very dry here too. I don't think I could grow anything if I didn't water on a daily basis. The farmers round here always have to water their crops.

We've had a few showers but not enough to water anything, I've been out with the hose this evening. Leaves on trees are turning brown.

Could also do with some heat. Still got the heating on in the evenings.

We had a months worth of rain here on Sunday/Monday, the ground is now sodden, so I've packed my hosepipe away.

You're on to something there Sheal, It's following Ziggy around, he was here last week, then it rained, now it's raining in Somerset. He can hire himelf out as a rain magnet.

Planted my spuds end of March, I've NOT had to water them at all. We are just short of sunshine here in Cumbria. And its currently 4 degrees C @ 6.40AM.

      Steve...:)

"And as he drove on, the rain clouds dragged down the sky after him for, though he did not know it, Rob McKenna was a Rain God. All he knew was that his working days were miserable and he had a succession of lousy holidays. All the clouds knew was that they loved him and wanted to be near him, to cherish him and water him."
