    Hence the expression Lubbly-Jubbly of course.

    In those far off days my father had a sweet shop and he used the ice-cream freezer to freeze the Jubblys - BUT, when he knew the ice-cream company rep was due, he had to take them all out, wrap in newspaper and hide them until the rep had gone - If he was caught using their freezer for other products he would have his contract revoked.

      When Daughter #1 was at primary school, I got in trouble with her teacher.

      Poppie had asked, "Miss, do you know what a Jubbly is?"

      Teacher had started to say she thought it was a 1960's orange drink, but Poppie said "No Miss, its a Badger with spots instead of stripes"

        I bet Kaz & Catz are asking her about that on facebook now:D

        Poppie had recently posted a pic of a "Found Cat" poster that had a pic of a badger on it, tried to copy it to here but failed.

        Underneath it says, not housetrained, a bit vicious (probably scared) no collar on it.
