As a newcomer to this forum, I'm not sure whether I am posting in the right bit so apologies in advance.
Having recently inherited a damp cellar, I'm thinking about growing mushrooms but not sure where to access the various types of spawn. I have previously grown them using the Ready Boxes but would like to be a bit more adventurous.
The posts I have seen on here are quite old so I'm wondering if anyone can offer some more up to date info/advice on UK based suppliers.
    Thanks in advance

Hi @Parrot I once bought a kit for shiitake and others where you grow them on planks of compressed wood shavings. I failed totally. I notice on eBay someone is selling oyster mushroom spawn. Maybe worth a try - it is only a couple of quid.

Thank you Caroline - I'll have a look at that and see if I can put my cellar to use !

Thank you too John - your apology obviously worked:)
