:sign0016: Pam - GC is a great place to meet new friends and swap lots of garden info - also a good place to relax and have a little fun after a days work. If I didn't work I would spend a lot more time in the corner!

Sounds like you went to the same school as me. If I didn't do my work I'd be made to stand in the corner too.

Yeah me too Clueless - At junior school I spent more time standing in the corner than sitting at a desk - and when I left the High school I left still owing detentions as I couldn't get them all in. Not that I was naughty - just full of life and a chatterbox (which they didnt tolerate in those days). My worst was when I showing the girls how to do the Charleston with belt round knees, beret pulled over ears and stood on teachers desk. Caught by the headmistress and told to dress as I was and perform in front of the whole school at morning assembly next day.

School was terrible. Both teachers and kids made it clear they didn't want to be there. It had bad OFSTED (or equivalent) reports then and now. I read up on the school recently as it appears as rough today as it ever was. Twice during my time there, a policeman was present in class. Honestly. And the school bus got burnt out.(!)
