overwintering cabbages

    Hi there we have put our overwinttering cabbages in this week and was wondering, are we too early too late, shouldnt bother? Whats your thought and what have you done with yours?

    Other news this week from the plot is, more courgettes (will they end?), beans, beets, salads, and sweetcorn.

    I have sowed my winter cabbages in seed tray in August and just planted them out last week. I would not think it is too late now.

    I have some cabbage plants which i planted in May/June but they still aren't ready. I have cauliflowers which are the same. How should i make sure they survive the winter or is there no hope?
