Rats have been raiding our compost bin recently despite us only using leaves, grass clippings & vegetable peelings. I guess they're after the peelings as I've found some under the nearby shed. After we've eradicated the rats would it be best to dispose of the compost left in the bin (there's not much of it) at the local council site as I'm concerned that any rat droppings/urine in the compost may affect it & not be suitable for use in the garden.

Having had Weil's disease once i'd say yes, but check for any minor cuts first and use rubber gloves.

Weil's disease makes Flu seem like fun
