    Help please guys.
    I`m sure I have seen this plant before ,,but for the life of me cant recall what it is.
    Found outback this morning.
    I have done the usual book and www search with no luck.
    Very shallow roots and about 12 foot long....!!

    Looks like Woody Nightshade Solanum dulcamera to me Robert.. attractive little flower with berries later lovely wildflower that will pop up anywhere courtesy of the birds.. :D

    I'll second that, also known as Bittersweet. Don't go eating it to try that out though.

      I think we used to call it Deadly Nightshade because of it being poisonous.

      Do you know, in all the years i've been into wild plants i've never found a single Deadly Nightshade plant.

      Probably a good thing as I might not be here telling you that if I had:DOH:

      No it isn't Deadly Nightshade Atropa belladonna although it gets called it allot Moyra... Deadly nightshade looks similar, but the flower is different & a little bigger, hence the berries being larger.. This is the Deadly nightshade flower

      It is used in medicine as it produces the drug Atropine.
