@Sheal I can honestly tell you I thought you were about 45 years old, I'm not going to ask you how old you were or are, but you certainly come across as someone very young :dbgrtmb: (45 is young, this is due to me reaching 40 later on this year! :heehee:)

I know I've been joking but I agree with Beckie I thought you were about 45 to 50.

Now these were around when I was just a boy :)
I also seem to remember you owning a certain early mk of Cortina (mk3 maybe?) with a 'poo' plate?? I can't find that thread though

@NorthantsGeezer I had my first few driving lessons in my dads car, a mk1 Cortina estate with a column change gear shift. My first car was a mk2 and then went on to own three mk3's, the one above being the ultimate....a 2000E. That was followed later by a Granada, three Escorts and many other makes of car. Other half and I have owned a minimum of 25 cars to date but we're not getting through them quite so quickly now.

All nice cars in their time :) I liked the Granada :) but never owned one.
I have a thing for women who can handle big cars. I think it shows confidence.
I see so many women driving big Mercs around the Milton Keynes area, but I have to say that it's an easy city to drive around. I still respect them though :blue thumb:.

The Granada was like driving a tank. A devil to park with no power steering.

My daughter works for Mercedes-Benz and she's working with the cars day in day out teaching, showing, tracks and skid pans. She and a team are off shortly to teach a load of lumberjacks how to cope in bad road conditions. She calls it a holiday!:biggrin:

Well as long as she is enjoying herself, that's all that matters :)
Today I stumbled upon a car 'meet' at my local airfield, and the guys want the photos I took (just snapshots really), as I had gone to photograph the planes, and it was bloody cold out there !
So now it's download and editing time . No rest for the restless. I should stay indoors in future .
