    Hi all,

So I've been drawing up my dream plot for this year. It got more and more ambitious as I was deciding on what to grow, and this is believe it or not the conservative extent. Now - how much of this do we think is actually achievable?
The plot is ready for digging over as soon as frost risk has passed, and I have seeds/tubers for everything mentioned - and most shrubs/fruits are already in the ground.

I wanted a more haphazard planting style but I'm aware I've probably foregone practicality completely in some parts! I want it to be a jungle of things, a mad scramble of scent and colour and taste and sights.

Here shown is one with structures/fruit cages in place and beside it, one without. Just so you can see a little better!

Hope this strange weather is bringing you lots of weird and wonderful adventures on your plots!

I like the sound of your plan Amy.

I'd like to see those plans in a bigger picture so I can see whats what.

I would like to know what is "everything mentioned", along with a legend for the pics that are too small to see
Have you planned out annual rotation plans for the beds ?

Just trying to make it so you can get in close and see what everything is - hopefully this has worked!

So, I'm trying to create a bit of a mish/mash of an allotment, still keeping formal beds etc but varying sizes and positioning so it ends up a bit crazy paving ish!

The cucumbers and squashes I'm going to try training in low arches which I've made out of the tops of old garden arches - might give them a bit less for the slugs to have a go at!

Crop rotation I'll have to have a good think about, I definitely see the advantage of growing all your crop types in one area and moving about, but its likely by next year I'll get itchy and enjoy the challenge of making sure everything is rotated about and still in good positions! Or I might end up digging it all over again and creating a completely new plan if this one doesn't work. It's all good fun to experiment!

anyway let me know how you get on with this picture!

Sorry Amy, it has enlarged the pic for us but we cannot really work anything out from what you have posted. I'm glad you have it all worked out and I'm sure it will be great, show us some photo's as you put it into action this year, we'd all love to see it.

          Steve...:)

Not to worry, the thing I'm using for some reason won't let me publish a clear plan! Quite annoying, that's the whole point of me using it! Well I'll let you know how it goes :)

Amy, is there any way you could change the font or make the text larger? It would be easier to read.
