LOST PICS

I have downloaded my pictures from my digital camera for some reason I must have forgotten to put them in my pictures can I recover them or how can I see the pics where have they gone ????? many thanks

 

Have they definitely been downloaded to your PC and not deleted off the camera? If so, the easiest way I can think of finding where they have been downloaded to is to take more pics, connect the camera to the PC and see where it sets the default for downloading them to. The go get the previous ones!

But someone more IT minded might advise differently.

 

Try opening up "My Computer", clicking on the C: drive and then searching for *.jpg
You will probably get lots of results, but your looking for the ones with the names you expect, or, more realistically, the date you either took or downloaded them.

(But Sussexgardener's reply is also worth trying)

And check that they're not still on the camera

Thanks to you both the pics have been deleted but after the adabe site downloaded it said your files have gone to appliance ? when I looked into coral site it shows the folders with the date on but when I click on or double click nothing seems to happen
