Hello - can anyone help in providing the correct name for this tree. It looks like a climbing lilac tree. Quite a small tree but with a true trunk (not shrubbery type) and branches which can be trained and twisted around railings. I thought it might be lilac vine but google images don't match what I have seen. I'm in West of Greater London and have seen lovely examples in Ealing and Putney. There are a lot of flowers and the branches look wizened and very decorative.

    Thanks for any help,

    Claire
