Help with fan wiring

Hi there, I have a manrose inline fan WITHOUT a timer run on, my question is, how do I wire the the light switch to the main unit, I assume it goes alongside the mains live in either L1 or L2 depending on what speed setting I have. Both the mains cable and switch cable are already in place from the current ceiling fan

 

Hi all, sussed it, neutral to N and switch live to either L1 or L2, mains live to be left out and secured in block.
