Must be one of those days all round!
Put a "Spicy Fruit" loaf in the bread machine at silly o'clock this morning knowing it would be smelling all delicious and lovely and tempting by the time I was back from our morning walk. And it was! Except ... the sultanas I had put in the automatic dispenser ... were *still* in the dispenser  So, Spicy Fruit Loaf sans Sultanas :heehee:
If that wasn't disappointing enough, I went into the office to begin a new project but had some beads out. Put them in my cupped hand to put them back into the little bag but managed to miss the bag and *PING! PING! PING!* they went, all over the floor in every direction :th scifD36:  :heehee:
Still, on the up side, the sun is shining and I'll be having my coffee outside in the arbour shortly and all will be well with the world once again.

Good morning @Beckie76 I never look forward that far:heehee: although did inadvertently look at the weather for Thursday (Gale force wind and torrential rain);) but don't worry to much we can shelter under one half of an Easter Egg:whistle:

Good morning woo, I'm going to blame the weather - we're all blinded and dazzled by the sunshine it is affecting our short term memories ;)

Well, after spending a few days with dad, came back to a lovely sunny afternoon so we spent some time outside with me planting out sweet peas watering seeds and repotting. Was all lovely. Had washing machine going, washing on line and my new friend, a Robbin, keeping me company. Other half goes ins inside to find a pool of water. Boiler has sprung a leak and we are now(3 hours later) waiting for council to turn up to turn off supply. I've already turned it all off to stop flow but they will just come out 'to make it safe' until repair can be carried out. Will leave us with no hot water or heating and we have guests for weekend.

It's already getting cold in here and I can see a long wait ahead before replacement part installed. I opened it up and found the fault but daren't even mention it to them as not allowed to interfere. Will update after their visit.

If they don't fix it but you are able to do that, then when you've done it send them a message thanking them for fixing it so quickly. ;)

Builders! Specifically the ones building the houses behind my garden. Why do they only speak (loudly!) in four letter words (and variations thereof)!!??
So, no more gardening for me today :nonofinger:

They came out last night and capped the boiler off. New pump being fitted tomorrow. (Hopefully)! I spent all day outside cleaning pots, potting on and filling trays. I'm sure it's warmer outside in the garden than in here. Got family staying for the weekend from tomorrow. What a great start.

@Rustler hopefully that new pump *will* be fitted tomorrow! :fingers crossed: Would be pretty mean to leave you without over a long Bank Holiday Weekend.
And if it is tomorrow, then it really will be a great start to your family weekend get together.
