@Kandy ... well, you DO describe the IoW perfectly there. :hapfeet: You'll have to work on Mr K when he is soon retired and relaxed. ;)

@IceColdRum ... thanks for the lovely memories. We lived on Shore Road. :imphrt:

@BeeHappy .. I'm from the Rhonda Valley so appreciate the beauty of that part of the world.

@Victoria, Cynon girl myself ..still here though! Don't think I could give up Wales, being 20 mins from the Brecon Beacons is an absolute dream, gorgeous up there and I'm only 10 mins from Ystradfellte, Nant Ddu resevoir and Fan Fawr. Mind you the open cast coal tip they've put on our mountain makes our area look awful.. (can't moan too much though, fathers an ex miner!)

@Victoria Ever since we had our first holiday over on Wight in 1992 I have always had the feeling which I can't explain that I need to be over there and even wanted to be buried at the green burial site on the island but someone told me that a body can't go through different counties without an agreement with the councils but I don't know if that was a wind up:scratch:

As usual he reckons that it would be expensive every time we left the island but for one I wouldn't need to come off of the island and as I pointed out we would save money by not having to use the car as the buses go all around the island and we will both have a bus pass by then but not sure if you can use them on Wight:scratch:

I will have to drag him round the estate agents when we are next there and show him the nice houses you can buy:snorky:

Also with 500 miles of footpaths we would have more than enough walking to do until we are too infirm and then can resort to mobility scooters:snorky:
