Friday was like a summer's day but yesterday had a very bleak forecast - but didn't turn out too bad.

We had been forecast strong winds and heavy rain - with a yellow warning. What we got were strong winds down the bottom of the garden but not strong enough for it to penetrate into the main garden. The rain stayed off until the evening so we ended up with a slightly chilly good day for gardening. :blue thumb:

Heavy rain forecast again for today but it's sunny at the moment. :)

      Great capture! :dbgrtmb:
I had one of those about an hour ago in my garden :wub2:
Now, it's just rain with the odd wink from the sun then the rain plays hide and seek. As soon as the sun has another wink, the rain comes out in a "Gotcha!" kind of way

Have you read Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and Influence People"? That certainly isn't one of them :psnp:

Well we're getting the kitchen sink thrown at us today here. We've had sunshine, wind, heavy rain, massive sized hail stones, thunder then lightening. We only need a bit of snow to put the top hat on it! :mute: :rolleyespink:

Typical spring weather today with sunshine and heavy showers, I managed to avoid most of them working in the greenhouse. 7C/45F

A day of sunshine and then cloudy weather with squally showers that blew garden chairs over, rolled buckets down the garden paths, and moved even heavy boxes out of position. Right now the temperature is 39f and the pressure reading is 997mbs:coffee::snork:

Must of been windy in the night as the wheelie bins were 15 foot from where there supposed to be and some pots blown over:doh:
Sunny spells today with one heavy shower around 3ish
Temperatures reached 9'c 48'f but didn't feel it in the wind

This is scary weather.... Storm Katie is giving us a bit of a battering, we've decided to move all the cars to a safer place branches are coming down and a tree has already cracked and uplifted from the ground, the rain is torrential and I'm absolutely soaked, I hope it passes soon...
