      I agree with "M", it's a Rugosa. I had three the same colour at my last house. :)

        @Sheal I had three but one of each colour in my last garden (white, pink and the deep pink AB has). I brought two of the suckers with me but only one flowered last year - so, I know I have at least one white one and other should reveal itself this year.

          Good afternoon @wiseowl i have not done any pruning yet as I would really appreciate your help in where to do the cut :)

          Do I cut this rose the same as the others that you advised me on... At an angle above the bud or should I just cut straight across:dunno:

          Evidence of previous cuts are straight across so I'm a little confused :scratch:

          Hi @Apple Blossom I am going to say this only once my friend :lunapic 130165696578242 5:these roses are one of the easiest to prune. Trust me: you can't do anything wrong! The quickest way to cut them is with a hedge trimmer. They can be cut back all the way to the ground or only half way if you wish the rose hips are edible and very high in Vitamin C. They can be made into delicious jams!
