in your opinion which flowers can be grown alongside tulips and bloom more or less at the same time and require the same condition of soil/exposure?
Suggestion for another good flower display....:ThankYou:?

Wallflowers. Very cheap and easy to grow from seed. Sow in the next month or 2 for flowers next year.

@HarryS  Its an amazing plant i can highly recommend it :dbgrtmb: ...it flowers no stop almost to the point of exhausting itself and this year past with the weather so mild it flowered almost right through the winter :spinning: it is frost tender but iv'e had my original plant now coming up 5 yrs so its seen and come through a few harsh winters and as you can see its very easy to take insurance cuttings from :) If you have a problem obtaining one  ...please say and i can gladly pop some cuttings in the post for you to start for yourself and you'll find it does grow very quickly

thank you for all the suggestions - I like very much the idea of myosotis, they are tiny and pretty. I am actually growing some in a pot at the moment but they seem to be extremely delicate (half of the seedlings died, maybe too much water?).
In regards to wallflower sorry to say that: I don't like the shape of the flower, although they may well be just the perfect solutions for splashes of colour here and there.

now I have a word in favour of the yellow wallflower: it looks great alongside purple irises with yellow throat, maybe positioned a bit higher since the irises are taller
