Getting a bit cheesed off with this rain now as it has been on and off for the last couple of days as well as the bitter cold winds that are not doing my bones any good:gaah:Been getting some fantastic photos up at the old airfield when we go up there for our evening fast walk as by then the rain has cleared away:snorky:

On the good side my hedgehog has woken up as he/she leaves little black pooh droppings on the lawn and the paths so at night have been putting out non fish cat food but still no photo of him /her at the moment as I don't know what time it comes round to the front door but I know it has been because it paddles around in the cat bowl and leaves that in a state.:snorky:

We need the Jet Stream to move to the North of the UK to get some warmer weather but it seems to have gone into a convoluted Omega shape right around us.:dunno::snorky:

It rained consistently throughout the night and hard enough, sometimes to wake me up with the rattle of the rain on the windows. The day brought a continuous army of mid grey heavy cloud from the West, although there was very little breeze the temperature only got up to 50f. At the moment the temperature is 47f and the pressure reading is 1017mbs, with the Garden Weather Station forecasting, for a change, a dry spell for the next 12 hours.............yeah, right!!:heehee::coffee:

Mostly cloudy with occasional light showers but at 4pm the cloud cleared away and left a lovely sunny evening. Temperature at 6pm was 10'c/50'f

A very cold, wet week. It was snowing early this morning but it turned to rain as the 'sun' came up, if that's what that strange weak light in the sky is. I heard the first cuckoo this year last week, so it must be spring, but you'd never know with these temperatures!

Generally, looking grey, with rain forecast for later this afternoon (hope to get the grass cut before it arrives...)

It's cloudy this morning but the sun is doing it's best to shine through the gaps. The rain is on it's way though.

It looked like it was going to be a nice day and then the heavens opened and dog and I retreated to the house. The garden is a paddling pool. I am forlorn. :gaah:

Dry and dull this morning turning to wet and windy this afternoon. It's chilly out there again at 7C/45F.

It has stayed dry all day with a mixture of Sunshine and cloud with a top temperature of 61f even with a fairly strong breeze. The temperature at the moment is 56f, which is probably the warmest evening so far, and the pressure reading is 1007mbs.:coffee::snork:

As usual, Shineyland seems to be getting a different weather pattern to most of the country. We've only had one day of proper rain in the last month with occasional very short spells of light rain.

Two days ago we had a very heavy 15 minutes of a hail storm sandwiched between a very sunny morning and afternoon.

Yesterday started off frosty and remained sunny most of the day with the afternoon reaching 60F. We've had a couple of hours rain during the night but it's now dry(ish) and overcast.

Joy of joys :) the sun shone all day long hitting 15.4° in the garden. I am so happy I can barely contain myself. Don't go raining on my parade now ...

Another day of mixed weather with sunshine and clouds with very little breeze and the temperature got up to 60f, which allowed me to sit out on the porch for 10 minutes with a mug of coffee and watch the insects investigating the garden. The skies did go black to the West around 2pm and we lost the sunshine for around half an hour while it tried to rain but the ground barely got wet. Then it went back to sunshine and cloud and the skies are slowly clearing even now. The temperature at the moment is 37f, that's a 16f drop from last night, and the pressure reading is 1007mbs.:coffee::snorky:
