    The temperature is still climbing - according to my weather station. It's now topped 80F and on its way to 81F.

    @wiseowl I see that yours is showing a tendency for rain whereas ours shows sunny :scratch:

    I've now got the sprinkler on the garden :noidea:

        We've had a week of strong south-easterly wind and now it's gusting around 60kms/h straight across the valley onto the house and garden:sad: All the planning was for prevailing winds from the west:gaah: It's heartbreaking seeing the irises and all that lovely fresh green foliage being battered and bruised:cry3:

            More sunshine today than yesterday and it felt humid as well. The temperature reached 89f by two pm and stayed there for quite a while. Right now the temperature is 64f and the pressure reading is 1012mbs.:coffee::snork:

                  Well yesterday as I sat by the fire, listening to the wind howling and watching the rain lashing against the windows my niece phoned me from Wigan to say that she was sunbathing in the 26ºC heat! :scratch: It's much more normal now though: dry, sunny and a pleasant 21ºC.

                    Down here on the sunny south coast (?) it is cloudy, windy and raining with a 'high' of 16c

                    While a lot of you were basking in 26c yesterday, here it was just 19c. I think I need to move north to get some heat!!!!
