I have a bottle of primo maxx that I want to use on my lawn. I don't understand the whole ratio thing on the bottle.
I basically want to mix some in a sprayer and cover the lawn.
Pretty much like I would with my roundup or verzodone etc.
But this seems to use working out by hectare rather than dilution ratios.

Here's a link to the product

It looks as if the dosage rate is variable depending on the length of grass/use you wish to make of the grass; so they give a dose per hectare and then a range of water volume (min-max) you choose what you want dependent on conditions. So for example:
    WINTER SPORTS PITCHES
    First application: Mid April
Application frequency: Every 4 to 6 weeks.
Height of cut: 10mm and above.
Dose rate: 0.8 litres/hectare for the first application. Following this, use 0.8
litres/hectare for turf cut below 18mm, 1.6 litres/hectare for turf cut higher than
18mm. In certain situations (very vigorous growth, high maintenance inputs) it
may be appropriate to increase the rate up to the maximum label rate of
    3.2 litres/hectare.
These volumes can be added to between 300 and 600 litres of water.
So for 1 hectare 0.8l in 300l water
    For 0.1 hectares (about 0.25acres) 80mls in 30l.
Or 1 part chemical to 400 parts water (1:400)
nb wear goggles and gloves as a minimum of PPE

So 50ml to 15 litres as a start?

To much and it will turn the lawn black.
It's only a small garden around 80 square feet.

Thanks for the detailed reply :)

    @Car.crash
It would be 50ml to 20l and this would treat 0.0625hectares or 6800 sqft or 0.156acres
Your lawn at 80sqft is 0.00074 hectares so 0.8l*0.00074 chemical to 300l*0.00074 water = 0.5ml in 200ml to 400ml water.
Why do you want to use a growth regulator on such a small area?

It makes the grass much darker and makes it thicker but discourages upwards growth.

It's a awesome product but I usually mix it in huge 200l ratios

I called the supplier and he said its 26ml of primo maxx to treat the whole area.

The bit what's got me on the back foot is how to apply that evenly over the whole lawn.
I get the whole dilute it and spray but making sure each but gets the same amount of passes.

    Any tips??

Put up string lines to the width of your sprayer over your lawn
