MMmmmm. Trump is crackers no doubt about it ... BUT if we had a candidate like that in the UK I wonder how that candidate would do ?

I don't think I could bring myself to vote for the idiots we have her just now. Both are the usual stereotypical lying clowns we have become used too. Give me an alternative and I would vote for them if for no other reason than to object to the crap we endure year in year out.

Perhaps Americans feel the same ?

We used to. Perhaps we still do, I'm not sure. Remember the BNP? Do they still exist?

I do see what you mean but Trump is a class of his own.... I genuinly believe the American people see him as an alternative to the usual dross.

the one thing about Trump is ---he has no puppet master. Where as everyone else, and those in offices now have them, and/or agreements of money etc. if you do X Y or Z for me. And I think with that merit that is appealing for some.

Obama's top puppet master was Maurice Strong BTW. a tons rich man with some strange notions when you look into his theories of how countries (yours included) should function. He just died.

Trump doesn't *need* a puppet master: he *is* one ;)

It is? Well, I suppose that's down to how he pulls those strings.

I took it more as simple statement of fact. But if trump aspires to be a manipulative puppet master, then I guess calling him a puppet master would be a complement.

The thing is, we can't judge trump. He is what he is. I'm more worried that so many people clearly support him. A bit like all the ordinary German folk that that it Adolf Hitler would make a nice refreshing change from the norm.

Ok we can. I judge my trumps to be the best. Especially on a Saturday evening when I've had chicken Madras for tea.

at least we know he is the puppet master that will be pulling strings. unlike those who have one pulling their strings and no one knows who their puppet master is. So many politicians have agreements with money sources etc. to push for this or to push for that, so they get something they want. everyone has their own hidden agenda.

Well, that seems to imply that knowing that an extremist is "pulling the strings" is fine and dandy......even though where those strings lead to could lead to even more isolation of America from it's friends and possibly bring racial, religious, and cultural conflict. Even the main Republican Party element don't want a rabble rousing, Mussolini to lead the USA to "greater glory":dunno::coffee::snorky:

This should be so interesting. It completely baffles me that anyone would consider Hillary. But in general so despondent the selection we have, I know I have said that before. SMH.

I agree with you, Redstar, America seems to be stuck, at the moment, with either extremists or certain political families that are able to pass on the presidential baton to the next member of the family. We have our own political problems here in the UK but we would never allow any family of any political colour to continually put up political candidates for the post of the Prime Minister. There should be a realistic limit a candidate is able to spend on a campaign so everyone has an equal chance and money, not democracy, is the winner.:dunno::snorky:
