You're welcome to join me in a beer in my tea-house at any time. I can even roll the fridge out as here on to the verandah.
    Roll on summer!

I said to my wife a bit earlier today, "Hmm.. It's getting a bit dark."
She replied, "I know, I think someone's been messing with the clocks!"

    Doh!

We have these sayings in our house, like: "Someone has left a tap running in the bathroom!"

    Err..

There's only two of us here.

I had one of those moments at my sisters' this morning, as she was looking at the 40 foot ash tree shading out the veg patch.

When she said " so we need to lop the top off then" Cant see her getting up there.

Sorry chaps, but I don't want to wave my boys off in darkness and a torch! That's just wrong!

And also, it's all very well in theory, but going out for a morning coffee at the weekend and it still being dark is more than a bit odd!

SG.... My poor hens wait til we're up. We have a toddler though, so it's hardly 'lazy' here at weekends. I'm just not disciplined enough.
