Good morning folks. I have been growing some flowers from seed in my little greenhouse and getting to that time where they'll need taking out and planting outside. I have grown six different types and am not sure where to plant them. I have a few different locations around my property and wondered if you kind folk could give some advice on where best to plant them?

    Here's what I have grown..

    Gazanias
    Mesembryanthemums
    Lavateras
    Morning Glorys
    Petunias
    Phacelia Campanularias

The few different locations I have are..

    Narrow borders around my lawn
    Very large deep stone pots
    hanging baskets
some areas in front of south facing walls
    A long thin shallow tubs

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

The Morning Glory is a climber so a trellis or canes or net up the south facing wall would make it look great.

I'm not the person to advise on annuals except I do know Mesembryanthemums like as much sun as possible and a free draining sandy/dry soil so maybe in front of your south facing wall? More year ago than I care to remember when I'd outgrown the sandpit in my parent's garden my father gave me some Mums to plant as he said they'd love my sand pit (dad had mixed into the pit a few shovels of soil)and they did!

Thanks. I'll add some sand to the soil.

Yep i planted some petunias last year in baskets and they were great. It's the other lot I'm not too sure about.. So far I've put a few petunias in baskets as well as a couple of gazanias in baskets too, Think I'm going to wait a week before planing any out anywhere else.

        Gazanias need full sun.
Phacelia Campanularias also know as the desert bluebell , guess what full sun again !
Like everyone all your planting areas are not facing south into full sun . So you have to bend the advice a little .
