On the one hand, the plants are growing like mad as they love it, but they aren't flowering as much through lack of sun.

I'm worried what I will find in my Dahlia bed down the allotment this weekend. A week and a half ago they'd been munched to stalks with a few shoots left. I put down organic pellets but the rain will have washed those away quickly *sigh*

      Hi JackJJW ,

We've had it glorious for the last 7/8 weeks, even the temperatures haven't fallen below about 22 ( had highs of around 28 a couple if weeks ago ). We were praying for rain like Sheal, and this week all we've had was a couple of scrawny little showers until yesterday.
Today it's back to sunshine and blue skies again ( so far ).

A top temperature today of 61f with a stiff, gusty, breeze with heavy grey/black clouds followed by more heavy grey/black clouds and short showers. The Sun came out occasionally for several seconds:hapydancsmil::hapfeet: .......and then decided it was in the wrong Country and tootled off to shine somewhere else:dunno::wallbanging: Right now the temperature is 57f and a pressure reading of 1013mbs.:coffee::snork:

Rubbish again, mostly cloudy until about 4pm.
                  Windy and only about 18C.

Just had a look at the met office and I know they dont really have a clue, but no light at the end of the tunnel there for the rest of July.

For what its worth I predict a warm end to the summer, so as we go into the Autumn things will settle down and we could get some warm days.

So dont pull the trigger just yet @ARMANDII
Pity the summer has gone by then though.

Well not a bad morning, sunny and warming up, shows its a bad summer when 20C actually feels warm.
At 2pm the usual dark clouds came up, rain and some thunder, think it moving away now, but its getting to be a real pain in the backside.
Cant get a whole day without rain at sometime, even if its just drizzle.
