We have been doing the rounds looking for a couple new bamboo/wicker type comfy chairs for the consevatory.
One very large well known company had something near.
Only problem was they wanted £735 each
    No way...
OK they where nicely made, but £735... and they where on offer....
    Thanks for listening:flag:

I would baulk at that price too. I suppose there must be cheaper furniture at the likes of B&Q and Homebase, how do they compare?

Were they comfy to sit in?
You only get what you pay for...........:hehe:

That does seem rather a lot of money for a chair! I do hope that you find what you want, and soon! :)

I wish to let it be known:hehe: that I was up at 5 this morning:scratch:
Out just before 8 grafting away.....

So.. Im asking..whats all this tosh im hearing about taking it easy after retirement?
    That has got to change..
I have even moved my big bad computor into the conservatory so I can blast at the aleins and fly my flight sim whenever.
I now have a multitasking room..conservatory/greenhouse/games room/ and then when I get around to knocking up some decent book ends to hold all my books together it will also be a reading room...
And then theres the plan to get the lecky grill outside for some BBQ.
    Busy,, busy.. busy

You'll be up and about at that time Robert. Just don't go wandering too far from the sound of the doorbell!

    You are correct Aron.
As the days get longer I now find myself getting up at about five.
I used to do the same when I was working.
I managed to sleep in during the winter, but I guess my bio clock is still on work time.

Everything these days is a rip off.

I had intended to plant a wildflower meadow on my land until I found out wildflower meadow seed mix is about £40 per kilo. That's £40 per kilo for weed seeds in effect. I reckon companies just jump on the latest bandwagon. At the moment the focus is on saving the environment so everything natural can be sold for a fortune. It was on the news today that the national trust want more of us to grow fruit trees (something I'd planned to do on my land anyway). Whats the betting that now fruit trees are the latest eco product they will double in price.
