    "Whats the betting that now fruit trees are the latest eco product they will double in price."

    Thats one bet I will not be placing... And £40 per kilo!!! phew..
    What sort of coverage would that give?

    If I remember right, it was going to cost me several grand to seed my 3 acre site. I can't remeber the exact figure because as soon as I saw it, I immediately wrote off that particular plan.

    Clueless1, I don't know if you have tried these for your wild flower seeds, I have used them in the past for grass seed in large quantities, and been quite helpful and reasonable in price.

    From what I gather, its 6kilos per acre of just flower seed if you already have the grass there, or 10kilos per acre for the mix with 80% grass, 20% flowers. The mixes that are just flowers are about £100 per kilo, so £600 per acre = £1800. Too much for me to just chuck on the ground and hope for the best.

    I would chance it if it wasn't for the fact that my land is like Watership Down (except that unlike in the film, the rabbits are actually evil, carefully selecting which plants I want most to succeed and then devouring them, while leaving untouched the plants I don't particularly care about).

    I have to admit I dont know how long I was asleep in one of those chairs this afternoon.:snz::snz::snz::snz::snz::snz::snz::snz:
    I dont clock watch like I used to..:thmb:
    It was so easy and I was only awakened by a friend visiting..
