Anyone reading any good books ?
I only got into reading properly about 5 years ago.
    When i stopped sleeping well.
I really enjoy them now and always have one on the go.
Mostly true stories ,auto biographies or information books.
But I'll have a go at most topics.

Or we can start a less "high brow" reading thread here!

I'm on Fashion Babylon, by the writer of Hotel Babylon. Excellent and funny read...

I'm reading 'Pete my story' by Pete Bennette the young man that won Big brother .
Very sad in parts and an insight into the problems that come with having the disability Tourette's .

I remember a radio programme in which a famous actor, I think it was Donald Sinden, said that he reached a stage in his life when he made a decision to read no more fiction.

I read very little fiction myself, and most of my reading is biography or autobiography. At the moment I'm reading a biography of Strindberg...but I suppose I'll have to supplement it with reading some of his fiction!

I've just finished reading ""The Suspicions of Mr Whicher" by Kate Summerscale.

It's a fascinating research into a real murder that happened in 1860 but it contains many references to the early detective novels of the time and the social and political circumstances of the Victorian era. Really enjoyable and rewarding to read.
