Helpful list, thanks. Should Nicks Nursery also be in the Supplier List section?

Thanks for the comment Kristen. I was really trying to show suppliers of unusual seeds.

There are a lot of normal seed suppliers as well, of course and I would class Nickys with those. Names such as Mr Fothergill, T&M, Marshalls, Suttons, Unwins, Dobies, Nickys, Kings, Johnsons, DTBrowns, Simpsons and, I am sure, many others.

Some of the seed sites are a great source of information on plants. I enjoy reading them without necessarily wanting to buy any seeds.

    Hi Peter

I had a look at the gallery for strange & wonderful things - and they are!! I have seen some of these plants either at RHS Wisley (in their greenhouses) or possibly one or two of them on my travels.

I can't add to your seed list as I don't have anybody different on mine - oh, maybe:

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Just come across another site. I had seen it before - but only just realised it has a seeds section.

    http://toptropicals.com/

EDIT - I have just tried to buy some seeds and found that they don't send seeds outside the USA - still it makes interesting reading

Thanks for all the comments. I have just come across some more :-

There are a lot of links here :- http://www.tropische-tuin.nl/zaadleveranciers_van_exotische_zaden.html#translate-en
There is a translate facility at the top left. English is there if you look hard under extra languages, but its obviously less important than Vietnamese and Hindi.
