It's about time this thread got back to what's important-good looking fellas.

There's something about Chris Beardshaw that irritates me though-oh that's it, his top's still on. Matt James has been a secret favourite for quite some time.

    Nice choices both of you.

Is this where I make all the ladies on GC jealous?

I have not only met Matt James, but I used to study with him!

    TV doesn't do him justice!

Yes ladies you are so right about those hunky men but for the wet shirt appeal you can't beat this man.[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hasKmDr1yrA&feature=related"]YouTube - Pride and Prejudice: The Lake Scene (Colin Firth Strips Off)[/nomedia]

What a shame he isn't into gardening though:DPlan1star I have met Chris Beardshaw in the flesh and he is as gorgeous in real life as he is on the telly and I also have his autograph:luv::flwsml:

It is only my opinion but I think GW is now utter rubbish and frankly infantile, but my son who runs a wholesale nursery is rubbing his hands. GW's constant makeovers involving the purchase of expensive plants an gardening hardware is boosting his sales no end. Percy and Geoff must be turning in thier plots!!

I think that's the worst of it Cauli, and this is where it lets down new gardeners the most. You cannot buy a garden and call yourself a gardener. Without the basics you're sunk.

I get the impression it is aiming at new and younger gardeners who are getting on the grow your own wagon. Alice, I feel is there for a bit of "eye candy" for the fellas - my husband is more than happy to watch now - in fact he's the one to tune in!!! It is going to be interesting watching how they make all the gardens and then to follow them through in future series. It is very obviously a gimicky tv set rather than a real garden, and the presenters have yet to prove themselves - but bear in mind, they have had some very big boots to fill!! I think they should have given the main presenter job to Carol - she's so enthusiastic -but I don't like her new bit - but reality tv is what the younger viewers want these days.
No one likes change - lets just see how it develops - send you views into the beeb - they won't know how you feel unless you tell them!!

ps - Chris Beardshaw - doesn't do it for me - too short!! Sean Bean - now we are talking!! My oldest is called Sean - I wonder who after!!! :wuvu: :wuvu:............................

Now, if the beeb got the most georgeous SB as the main GW presenter, it would be the best TV programme ever!! And if they threw in some shots of him digging the borders without a shirt............ ooooh - I've got to go and lie down..... I've come over all faint!!!! :luv:
