    Achieved, at last!

When you can get three home-grown items onto a plate which forms a natural combination then that is, to a small gardener with very limited space, a holy trinity.

In other words, timing and luck. Usually, at the Community Garden, it is the lettuce that misbehaves: we either get a glut before the other two reach maturity or vice-versa, even with successional planting.

But, this time, I am happy to report that the salad trinity has been achieved.

    Have you achieved yours?

          well done

There's nothing worse than harvesting produce from one plant and wanting to eat it with something else that's not quite ready

I've achieved it for the first time this year. I picked Kale, cabbage, broccoli and beans for sunday dinner yesterday. Next year i'm hoping to do the same but with some cauli's and turnips thrown in

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's the small victories that make gardening that little bit more pleasurable.

The Brassica Trinity! Craig1987, please post some pictures of it.

I am especially eager to see how your broccoli turned out as we have problems with the heads not forming properly.
